Orthopedic Laser Handpieces

Orthopedic laser handpieces (applicators) are medical instruments with mechanical constructions designed to guide and secure fibers for precise and controlled laser–tissue interaction with biological tissue. They are primarily used in contact mode.

They consist of a handheld grip for freehand application, a shaped fiber-guiding tube, and a fixation unit. The handpiece is connected to the fiber on a temporary basis only.
